2023 Membership Rates

Youth: Any youth age 12 and under may use the pool, gym, and youth locker with parental supervision.

Any teen, age 13-18, may use the pool, gym, and youth locker rooms. Teens 13-15 may use the fitness center only if accompanied by their parent and legal guardian.

College: Any person up to the age of 24 taking 12 credit hours or more from an accredited college or university. A current class schedule and ID with family address must be presented within one week of membership and at the beginning of each semester. Failure to provide information will result in membership automatically upgraded to status and fee.

Adult: Any individual 19-61 years of age. Member must notify front desk upon turning 62 for senior adult rate adjustment.

Jr Family (no children): Any two adults living at the same address.

Single Parent Family: Any adult 18+ with children who are claimed on their tax return and living at the same address.

Family: Offered to anyone presenting themselves as a family unit of two adults residing at the same address with dependent children if those children are still in school. Dependent children need not reside at the same address full time. Please see guidelines for children.

Family Plus: Offered to families with three adults residing at the same address with dependent children if those children are still in school. Dependent children need not reside at the same address full time. Please see guidelines for children.

Senior Adult (62+): Any individual 62 years or over.

Senior Family (no children): Any adults (no children) living at the same address. Only one must be over the age of 62, the other must be over 18.

The Beaufort-Jasper YMCA of the Lowcountry recognizes the importance of the family unit in the children and adults. Proof may be required before adult, children, grandchildren, or foster children can be added to a membership. Guidelines for children: must be 3 months to 18 years.
2023 Annual Rates

The joining fee is a one time, non-refundable fee for all new members payable upon application and will be waived when member terminates their membership and rejoins within 6 months. If you cancel your membership, and at a date later than 6 months, wish to renew membership, you will be required to pay a new joining fee.

A 30 day written termination must be completed by the member and membership cards returned to the Y for bank drafts to be stopped. This is a responsibility of the member. Members may send a fax to (843) 770-0875. Members who cancel by fax are strongly encouraged to call the membership office at (843) 522-9622 to confirm receipt of faxes. YMCA will not assume responsibility for more than 2 months for which the YMCA has record of receipt. Please verify the accuracy of payments from your account to the YMCA on a monthly basis.

Active Duty Military and Veterans will have their joining fee waived and a 15% discount applied to their membership.
