Deep water and shallow water classes!
Our Water Aerobics Classes:
8:45 am-9:45 am Mon-Wed-Fri**: This class is a shallow water class that works all parts of the body and is very low intensity. It includes balance, cardio, arm work, and core strengthening for all ages and abilities. We often begin with 10 minutes of beach ball play for warm up. You do not have to know how to swim!
10 am-11 am Mon, Wed, & Fri** 8am – 9 am Thursday: COMBO Shallow+ Deep Water. Great class for a good, solid workout. You may be in the shallow water OR deep water – you decide! This class is designed to increase the heart rate and condition the whole body, with minimal impact on your joints. It combines cardiovascular and muscular endurance, strength, and core abdominal work. A variety of training tools are used including noodles and water weights.
8am – 9 am Tues.** This is a power hour of quick moving water AEROBICS! High intensity workout. This is a Level 3 workout.
8am – 9 am Thursday: POWER HOUR COMBO Shallow + Deep Water. This is a power hour of quick moving water AEROBICS! You may be in the shallow water OR deep water – you decide! High intensity workout. This is a Level 3 workout.
9-10 am Sat** This deep water class is for adult of all ages who can swim and are comfortable in deep water. A buoyancy belt is required and provided. This a moderate intensity class. Class concentrates on cardio and interval training using various exercises and lengths of exercises with short rest periods for optimum benefit.
**Please let your instructor know if you have any medical issues that might require modification of exercises. Also, if you have medical issues please get your doctors’permission before beginning any exercise program.
